TRAD Construction is a newly founded construction company based in Missouri that started experiencing a decline in work towards the winter months. To keep work coming in, they decided to launch a holiday light decorating service from scratch. While they had the know-how to turn houses into beautiful winter displays, they had no customer testimony or digital presence.
Vastify’s Strategy
Since we knew that we had to create an almost entirely new brand and start generating sales ASAP, we quickly put together a simple, foolproof plan:
While this sounds fairly simple, we only had a $20/day budget and 26 days until the owner wanted to be completely done for the season, so it was time to get to work.
First, a Landing Page that Sells

Yes, this landing page is very simple, but that’s exactly what we wanted—something that conveyed a clear problem and a clear solution. We chose a GIF of Clark Griswold from Christmas Vacation falling off a ladder because it immediately caught the viewer’s attention while bringing attention to a real issue people experience when hanging Christmas decorations.
At the bottom of the page, we placed a simple contact form to collect user details, while a button in the top right corner provided a seamless scroll-down experience for quick access.
We decided to not only launch this landing page, but also make a variant that we would use to A/B test the initial view the visitor gets when they first arrive to the website⬇️

Next, Getting People to that Page
Now that we had the landing page set up and ready to convert visitors into leads, we had to start sending potential buyers there.



3 examples of the ad creatives we used
We collaborated with our design team to create multiple ad layouts, making subtle variations in text, colors, and images to refine each version.
After creating everything, we plugged them into a campaign targeting individuals who have shown interest in Christmas, holiday decorations, or anything related to festive decor.
Finally, Refining and Lowering CPAs

As you can see in the image above showing the 3 top-performing graphics, we had 2 graphics that outperformed the third by a large margin, so we turned off all of the ads that weren’t generating results and focused the budget on these 2 winning ads.
Since we had such a short amount of time (26 days) to generate leads, we had to constantly monitor these ads and find these winners as quick as possible.
